Recent Assignment

My most recent assignment was supposed to be abstract... I'm not really good at abstrat, but if I were going to do it better, it would have to be just take my camera everywhere and keep my eyes open... I didn't think any of these were flickr worthy but thought i would share them regardless. the diamond plate one is the one my group picked out of my ten. These are just 4/10 I did for class today.

My self portrait for my photography class, I took ALOT of photos, I really don't like pictures of myself, I guess thats why I stand behind the camera. haha. I do like how this turned out. I think its alot sharper than most of my images are...

This is one of 10 photos for the landscape assignment. It was cold and windy today, so I didn't have too much fun doing this, plus I'm really not a fan of landscapes.

This photo is one from Ely's Snowfest Dance. The theme was Narnia. Overall the dance was smooth, if not smoother than the others I have done. Candice and Katie were managing the money and the choosing of photos while I shot the pictures. I offered black and white, sepia, and a Color Enhanced black and white (pleasantville effect). I shot directly to my PC again which seems to be working well, but I'm not sure if it would for a bigger school.

Bored

So when we were driving around last night waiting for mike to decide what to take a photo of, I decided I would rip off another idea, mainly out of boredom, but the result was cool. This is as shot, no photoshop except to resize it. I also shot a dance this weekend in Ely. I have them uploaded but on private until I get them done, or closer to it, to avoid people getting angry or jealous.
